USA SWIMMING

REQUEST FOR OBSERVATION -Form A

This form is to be used to request observation for verification purposes at YMCA, High School, Collegiate or Masters meets that are not district, conference, league, or national championships  where the swims to be observed must have a reasonable chance of meeting USA Swimming Championship, National, World Cup or U.S. Open qualifying standards.

The observation program is not available for time trials or high school dual meets.

INDIANA SWIMMING

REQUEST FOR OBSERVATION - Form B

This form is to be used to request observation for verification purposes of High School, YMCA, Collegiate, or Masters meets for where the swims to be observed must have a reasonable chance of meeting USA Swimming Championship, National, World Cup or U.S. Open qualifying standards.  If High School, the meet must be District or State Championship; if Collegiate, the meet must be in the qualifying progression for the season culminating championship. 

Observation authorization for meets that are not in the qualifying progression must be requested on Request for Observation - Form A.

PLEASE NOTE THE REQUIREMENT FOR AN OBSERVATION IS ONLY IF THERE IS A REASONABLE CHANCE OF MEETING NATIONAL TIME STANDARDS.  Observations cannot be issued for any other meets or proofs for meets.  Please remember that for the Indiana Swimming state meet series and Central Zone Sectionals, printed results are sufficient forms of proof, therefore, an Observation is NOT needed.
