Head Coach - Evansville
The Greater Evansville Aquatic Team (GREAT) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Head Coach, beginning in the Fall of 2008. The current team has between 30 and 40 swimmers from age group to senior level.
GREAT is looking for an energetic individual interested a long term commitment to further develop a growing team. Interested individuals must be able to work effectively with swimmers, parents and local high school coaches. The potential for growth is tremendous as GREAT is the only USA Swim program in the city of Evansville, Indiana (population 120,000). Team mission and profile are available at www.greatswim.com.
Coaching duties include organization of group practices, correspondence with swimmers and parents, management of meet entries, and on-deck coaching at competitions.
Job Requirements include:
· USA Swimming/Indiana Swimming Coaching Certifications
· CPR/First Aid Certifications
· ASCA certification
· Knowledge of Indiana Swimming Procedures and Requirements
Compensation consists of hourly coaching rate, with financial incentives for club growth.
