Highland Hurricanes Swim Club – Assistant Age Group Coaching Position

The Highland Hurricanes Swim Club, in Highland, IN is seeking an Assistant Age Group Swim Coach.   This position is currently open for the 2011-2012 Short Course season.   This position reports to the Head Coach.

Position:  Part time position, working with our younger age groups.

Responsibilities:   Be able to work 5 days a week, planning and implementing practices with help from the Head Coach. Practices run 2 ½ hours. Be able to attend meets on some weekends.

Qualifications:  Applicants must have or need to obtain a USA Swimming Coaches Certification before start date.   This certification requires: CPR/First Aid and Water Safety certifications, and/or Lifeguard certification and a USA Swimming background Check.   Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience-background preferred, but not required.  

Compensation:  Rate based on background, experience and qualifications.
