Part-Time Diving Coach / Assistant Swim Coach Candidates are encouraged to apply for a part-time diving coach and/or assistant swim coach position with Franklin College located in Franklin, IN. The successful candidate should have at least 4 years of competitive swimming experience or diving experience. College level swimming/diving experience is preferred but not required. Coaches with diving experience will be given preference over coaches with swimming experience alone.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all matters related to the team including: the safety and security of athletes, the instruction of the athletes, recruitment of athletes, and compliance with all NCAA policies. Coaches will also be required to attend practice as necessary for the proper development of the athletes, all swim meets, and other team-related functions. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the promotion of a balanced student-athlete lifestyle are imperative attributes of the coach. Candidates will develop goals, implement strategy, and perform any other necessary duties as required by the head coach. This position will report to the head swim coach. Candidates will be subject to a background check and must maintain a driver’s license in good standing.
